Post Where the DOCTRINAL emcees at?
What's up guys. I'm new to the boards so I wanted to share some Christian hip hop fave's of mine. I was called to the Lord earlier this year, so I can definitely use some suggestions of solid Christian emcees that are putting it down.

BUT!

I have noticed that a fair amount of the stuff getting posted around these boards as so-called "Christian" rap really is only Christian in name! If someone claims to be a Christian rapper, but they don't exalt Christ, I would say they're really not making Christian music at all.

If a song shouts out Christ in ONE line, but the rest is just your standard hip-hop prideful self-boasting, is that really a Christian song? I don't want to come off as trollish in my first few posts (too late), just my observation of some (not all) songs posted.

So if anyone has suggestions of guys that are doing really doctrinally sound hip hop, I'm all ears.

Some very doctrinal favorite artists of mine:

Christ Centric - Apostase

Christ Centric - TULIP

Shai Linne - Mission Accomplished

These next ones slap, but still keep it biblical:

Flame (feat. LeCrae) - No Silence
[Lyrics on the vid are wrong; just listen]

Flame - Go Buck

Much love brothers, God bless

Welcome bro!!! I agree with you about needing to have the tracks Christ centered, there are a lot of tracks that are labeled as Christian but I can't tell the difference between these and secular tunes.
