I love this song. Mirage is such a great album. I don’t know how much of a fan of Armin you are, Nate, but did you notice the transition in lyrics from “Imagine” to “Mirage?”
Imagine is a desperate album. The lyrics are so troubling sometimes… I think Armin was really hurt by a girl and he completely hashed out on her by selling one of the most popular albums of all time haha.
Then he gets married.
The lyrics in “Mirage” are so uplifting and good. His first vocal single from the album “Not Giving Up on Love” tells a lot. The rest of the album is so happy and the lyrics are filled with good love songs. Idk, just something I noticed. I’d love to ask Armin if my perceptions are right in accordance with the shift in his lyrics.
