Ya I know that the virus is digital brained and all, but that seems to be what everyone is using. Has anyone tried putting a soft synth through a dynamic convolution plugin like nebula 3? That piece of software is supposed convolution, but for more than reverbs. This goes for eq, compressors, preamps, speakers, reverbs, and all sorts of stuff. I would say that convolution is the future of vintage hardware sound, maybe I’m wrong, but convolution reverbs sound completely awesome and are about 150 times cheaper than hardware units. You guys might check out liquidsonics reverberate. They have a free one that is great and one that is even better for $50. I’ll probably put up a video describing it.
