Re: Is there Three Persons In One?
Come on all you believers and nonbelievers! Just in one chapter of the Holy Bible God is telling us there is only one God! I’ve counted six times in just this one chapter that our LORD and Savior is tellin us that there isn’t anything else that makes up who He is. There are many other times it speaks of God only consisting of one, not three. If you have faith in three distinct personages in the Godhead, then are you not technically having faith in a polytheistic religion rather than a monotheistic? And if not, how would you explain it?
How about this passage in Genesis
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
Who would God be talking to if he was alone? There was nobody else around yet….except the rest of trinity….That’s what I think
There’s also this other passage where Jesus says He is one with God
I and the Father are one.
If there are two in one, why cant there be three?
And also we cant forget the great commission
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit
There’s my opinion on the subject
