the new version? Are you talking about Renoise 2.6? Renoise 2.6 does look like the business.
By the way Reaper is a serious player in the DAW field now, and the cheapest option on a budget. I think all of the large music magazines features it in about every issue. It is like Pro Tools, but in my opinion it is better than LE or HD, both of which I have used.
No I am talking about FL Studio.
Reaper looks more like Logic than Pro Tools but all three are multi-track programs. PT HD software is the same as LE, just adds their audio processing cards so the PC doesn’t do all the work, whereas LE is all native. Pro Tools has better algorithms why it costs more. Way you can manipulate audio in it is nice. If Reaper can do the same, they’re selling themselves short and should charge more. There’s still differences between a cheap program and one that costs more. But really Pro Tools costs are with the interfaces. If program was ever sold by itself it would be like 200-250.
just depends on how you want to work, Reaper or FL Studio.
