It was a bit slow for them to start dancing right away. I had to change my daughter’s Emily’s diaper right at the start of the set and I actually had to switch the sound system I was playing on and then make an announcement that everyone should get up and dance for the Chicken dance that people started dancing and it was awesome the rest of the time. We had some good energy.

I found I guess they really didn’t care so much about the lovely dovey songs but they did want to just dance and enjoy themselves.

I did end up using Mambo Number 5 and I think that was a good choice on my part.
