In response to ‘frogb0tter’ and your comment that follows:

“Otherwise, I’d suggest removing the statement of urgency on baptism, as it might give someone the impression that it has some type of authority on eternal matters, or is necessary for salvation (which it absolutely isn’t)”

If you believe the bible 100% then you must take into consideration that it says to be baptised (amongst other things) to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (Atcs 2:38). Baptism is a MUST! Your straddling the line of being a false prophate when you say that “baptism absolutely isn’t necessary.” :-/

Acts 2:37,38
“Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”

If baptism is “absolutely” not needed, then I would think that Peter would not have told these men to “repent, BE BAPTIZED EVERYONE OF YOU for the remissions of sins.”

John 3:5
“Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”

Jesus says it so straight forward in John 3:5. You CANNOT enter into Heaven unless you are born of water (baptising in water) and of the Spirit (Spirit is capitalized because it’s God’s Holy Spirit).

Matthew 28:19
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:”

Yet again, Jesus couldn’t make it any more straight forward! “BAPTIZING them in the name…” [As a side note, Jesus says "in the NAME of (not nameS) the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." These three are just TITLES of Jesus. Just like we all have our own titles. Personally I'm a Father to my daughter, a Son to my mother and father, and a Husband to my wife. But I have a name, just like these 3 titles have a name - JESUS. So when you do get baptized, make sure they do it IN THE NAME OF JESUS. ^.^ ]

[God is only one; He is not made up of three as many believe. Trinity is a false doctrine!]

Nonetheless, I shouldn’t have to elaborate on how important it is to be baptised. If the bible says to baptise, then you MUST baptise. Have faith like a child.
In this ‘day-and-age’ we try to reason with things of the bible. We think we know it all – or the vast majority of it all. Ask any scientist and they’ll tell you that their beliefs on anything is only theory for that time it’s being presented (even if the mathematical equations and expressions work). The next generation of scientists will eventually prove their theorys wrong and/or improve on them. An infinite cycle, if you will. Even if you don’t understand why the bible says it, just accept it. There’s a perfect reason why Jesus says it! Again, have faith like a child.

Pardon any spelling errors by the by. :-P
