Christian DJs in the UK

Was just wondering whether there were any Christian DJs on here from the UK. I think it’d be great to get a little networking done so thought I’d start a thread.
To kick things off, my name’s Graham from Manchester and I go to Kingsway in Sale. I’ve been saved about 3 years now. I play a whole bunch of stuff from House and Breaks to DnB and Dubstep. But, I must confess that my true love at the moment is DnB!
Anyway, would be good to hear from some other Christian DJs in the UK!August 18, 2011 at 6:49 pm #38093
There are several Christian DJ’s from the UK. Tim Thomson, Pete Le Freq, DJ Kenny Mitchell, Andy Hunter, off the top of my head.September 30, 2011 at 11:07 am #38094
Hi, my name’s Peter from south London, I go to Horizon Church Sutton. I’m not a dj necessarily but I am a producer and I make trance, hard trance & freeform. There’s talk of an event starting up in High Wycombe towards the end of the year that will be EDM-worship led. Not sure of the finer details but there’s a few guys involved who don’t know much about EDM but are trying to generate interest.
My heart is that this should not be viewed as simple “an event” but part of an ongoing church experience. It sucks that some Christians have a very limited view on what they think worship music is and isn’t, and what they think should be in church and what they think is best confined to the “youth room”.
If anyone in the UK is reading this and you want to get involved or are interested, let me know. We’re looking for mix-tape demos or produced music.
Nehemiah was a man of action who didn’t sit around and wait for someone else to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem, he got off his backside and did something about it.
Back in the day I used to go raving at some of London’s greatest underground club venues and I always thought to myself that one day this could be church and instead of everyone taking drugs and getting smashed, people would be worshipping the Lord and the Holy Spirit would provide the energy to rave till 6am…imagine that, it’s almost to beautiful for me to comprehend.
CALLING ALL UK-BASED CHRISTIAN DJ’S AND PRODUCERS! THE TIME IS NOW!!!!!!!September 30, 2011 at 5:24 pm #38095
Hey Cephas. Sounds amazing. You got an address or email to send mixes to?October 4, 2011 at 10:24 am #38097
Yeah send to either firstname.lastname@example.org or cd to 221 Peterborough Road, Carshalton, Surrey, SM5 1DT.
As I said, the finer details haven’t quite been worked out so we’re still at the stage of praying about it and finding out what’s on God’s heart for this. Can I encourage you to also pray about it?!
I guess if we can get the right people together and get a cool venue we can see Jesus glorified through edm!
Awesome!! Time to get excited!! Stay blessed…October 4, 2011 at 11:22 am #38098
I probably should also mention that the idea is to have actual worship/Christian-written tracks rather than contemporary stuff – unless there are tracks that have a clean/positive content.
We want the Holy Spirit to move in the music so if the tracks are written for that purpose then I know that we will really tap into the heart of worship. I’m also keen to use as much music as possible that is available from the download store here on God’s DJs.

Hey guys DJ Praize here. I am State side but like what you have going on. I am a fan of Ka-Je Projek. They have new work up on soundcloud/soundsu that you could use and available for download. They have even collaborated with other producers to write and sing on tracks in the past in case you have productions. Very cool!October 18, 2011 at 1:47 pm #38099
