so apparently he just released one today. I didn’t even know about anything until I saw his Twitter post today.
(Nate think you need to change link colors so people can see them. )December 7, 2010 at 2:41 pm #33682
Yes I saw the post about colide, more trancy tunes this time and some sort of electro & progressive, its good but looks like needs some mastering or something, could be better i think.December 7, 2010 at 4:27 pm #33683
That reminds me… I haven’t even bought “Colours” yet. Course, I didn’t care for what I heard of that release nearly as much as “Exodus” and “Life”. Sounds like this release might be more to my liking genre-wise.December 7, 2010 at 8:28 pm #33684
Color its good, but like more comercial type of music, I think he was trying to sale more with color, better sound on the last one, talking about mastering process, this EP needs more punch in my opinionDecember 7, 2010 at 9:03 pm #33685

Exodus will always be the favorite for me. First time I heard Andy Hunter and Christian based Dance music. Even got my copy signed by him and whole album was just good start to finish.
At first listen, I’m almost putting Collide over Life, since Life EP I really only liked about half and so far all on Collide sound good to me.December 7, 2010 at 9:17 pm #33686
His stuff doesn’t have a whole lot of low end, sounds kind of popish. He definitely has his own style though.December 7, 2010 at 9:25 pm #33687
His stuff is on sparrow records and I wonder if the lack of low end has anything to do with the mastering house it was sent to. I wonder if sparrow has a mastering house that they send stuff to by default. Having an EDM track mastered by a non EDM mastering house could really be a bad thing. EDM is all about the low end and maxing out the volume.December 8, 2010 at 3:19 am #33688
agreed, no low end on his tracks, but the same kind of thing happend with past tracks, on exodus and life Cd, same thing no low end. strange ha! he is producing more dancy, sort of electro an progressive, he realizes thats what ppl like in latin america, where he is been getting his biggest gigs on christian eventsDecember 8, 2010 at 8:58 am #33689
ya like I said maybe it is the mastering house, or maybe he just mixes his stuff weak. that is one big reason why I don’t care for his style; his tracks sound too pop like because of the mixing without a big kick/bass sound.December 8, 2010 at 8:25 pm #33690
true Travis, I was buying his music then I met him last year, and I stoped buying his stuff LOLDecember 8, 2010 at 9:23 pm #33691
what? don’t care for the guy’s personality or do you have some different opinions?December 9, 2010 at 1:32 am #33692
I met him 4 or 5 years ago at Cornerstone, thought he was nice enough. His worship sets are phenomenal I think. Unless he’s changed alot in five years…. Gotta love that Latin Flavor Al! Latin America is beautiful too.December 9, 2010 at 4:30 am #33693
I can DJ some of his tracks, if anything enjoy listening to them. You guys do remember the Colour album was exploring the soundtrack side of his production since lot of his tracks of Exodus and Life got into trailers and such.
