So this weekend my church celebrated their 20th anniversary. We had a huge carnival like day at this park up in the mountains. There were probably about ~5,000+ people there!

Our worship team put on an awesome performance, and then we had Matt Redman play a set! It was veeeerrry cool. It was so incredible seeing all of those people just so engaged in worship. It was such an overwhelming feeling. I was dancing with my daughter in my arms right up by the stage and almost started crying like 3 different times.

Our pastor came out and gave a message in the middle of his set then they finished up, it was truly an incredible experience. Our worship leader, Andy, even came out and did a song with the band which was pretty amazing!

He closed with a song called Dancing Generation right as the sun was going down and it was just sooooo amazing. The whole place went NUTS and everybody was just going crazy, dancing. I was so full of the spirit I thought I would literally explode. I have never heard that song before, but man I’ll tell you what it was like God talking directly to me and just proclaiming the mission of this site and everything I want to do in Christ in my life right now.

If everybody loves to dance for God with Matt Redman why wouldn’t they want faith based dance music?

Here is the song from some other performance:

…and yes I will be definitely doing a remix of this song… LOL

    God Bless

Dude! Seriously tell me when you have a remix of it. One of the other youth leaders and I are applying gentle pressur…. um, encouragement ( ;) ) to our youth pastor to let us try introducing the kids to DJ-led worship. (Currently, the church has a “no dancing” policy, but for a Brethren in Christ church, they’re actually quite non-conservative, so we’re hopeful.) That would be a cool track to include in a set.

NO DANCING!!! That is crazy. I play bass for in the worship band for the 5th and 6th graders sometimes and my best moment is when I see the kids dancing a little bit.
You should have seen 6,000 people dancing in the park on Sunday for that Matt Redman song. How could anyone deny His presence in that!

Psa 150:4 Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; praise Him with strings and pipes.

EGASP!!!!!!!!! we might just have to sensor the Bible to keep up with denominational ethics!!!!

Why don’t we just kick out prayer and fellowship with other Christians as taboos that aren’t allowed as well?!?!

    jk

May God bless you with dancing of a godly nature in your local fellowship brother!!!

Travis , Brother you always bring the Scriptures. Thank You in Advance :)
Ah, i need some help with Goldwave. Got 2 Bible Studies I would like to get mastered. I recorded them with Sound Recorder and the quality is not good enough to mix into Live Sets. Last night After Study I downloaded Goldwave and tryed to tweak the sound. (Hopefully in the future I can record with Goldwave and get a better sound)

As far as what has already been recorded. i tryed quite a few different tools last night on goldwave and could not grip it. time was of the essence. you know how i do , raising 2 kids and being married. the family is my 1st Ministry so time is not always available.

If you would help out, maybe skype this evening? Also, we have another file in the drop box that is a wierd format, i need to get it converted to wma or mp3, the sound quality i think is good enough for live sets. would like to get this accomplished before the 29th of Oct to drop Live in KC.

Also going to use the Bible Studies in Promo Mixes to give to a grip of local churches here in central IA. Hoping to set up some outreachs very soon. been slow going, been in prayer for a long time and God has told me the above needs to be accomplished before the next step.

Hit me up tonight if you would. We Love You Brother
    God Bless You.

Thank You! Did you find them in the dropbox? They are in a file with your name on it. The file in all CAPS. DJ GRAPHITE 412

Thanks again. God Bless You Brother.

Ok. I worked on those files and right now they are uploading to dropbox. The one bible study probably sounds the best, and the phone call is really lo-fi. So the Lo-Fi sound can’t really be helped much. Tell me how they work out bro.

The Bible Study & the Thornes To Throne both sound good. Thank You!

I do need to find another way to record Bible Studies, Sermons, etc. The sound quality on sound recorder is kind of wack. I will have to check into using Jimmy’s mic or finding another program that is free to record with. That way, they would not need tweaked with another program to be used for music Ministry, in a live mix.

For some Reason, when i try to load Thornes to Throne, to Serato. It does not read the format. It shows it as a MPEG. im not sure what’s up with it.

if the blog talk radio has a copyright, even though we recorded the call for our use. we can play it on itunes, etc. however the format will not load into Serato. ?? :( ??

GLM, I apologize Brother. I didn’t know you were joking, I take sin seriously and if i was stealing something i wanted to get right with God.

Most days I am to busy to pick up the phone. jump on skype, facebook, tastyfresh or another site to contact Travis or any other Brother or Sister in Christ. Man I usually jump on a site, check out the new posts and post whats on my heart. I will try and start new topics in the future.
    Respect

Ephesians 4:29-32 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
