Okay. . . so who is your favorite?

Heard some great artists from N*Soul Records, but haven’t seen much since.

    Where is everyone from?

I guess the only one that I know of is electron7. That bro has some cool sounding tracks and they all are free on Jamendo.

    download them here:

I also am starting to make ambient tracks. You can get my one and only ambient track here.

I *just* downloaded The Prophecy. Totally, totally bank.

Check out some of the Andy Hunter feat. Hydro mixes. I used to have all their tracks before my Itunes crashed. . .

Cool. There are a couple tracks on there that are cool. Digital Aura also has some tracks.

    Ahh, yes! Got them too.

I’m hoping to see more DJ’s put good, solid preaching from the pulpit to ambient.

    Anyone up for the challenge?

I just found out that an evangelist friend of mine digs ambient for preaching, like it is his favorite music to preach to. He is also a friend of Ryan Goode. It will be interesting to see what happens.

actually it will be awesome to have street preaching with ambient music and djs and evangelist. People would be like, “What is that peaceful sounding music and stuff?”

    Hey
New here. Adam Young who is Owl City is a christian and he has some music out under the name Port Blue and in the album Airship there is some preaching in it.
Also, this is my brothers song. He is still finding his sound.

I too am a big fan of using ambient music/sounds when I share my messages. It really does set an atmosphere to get everyone tuned in to what God is doing. Pretty Awesome!

Checked out his Myspace page. . . like his comment:
In my opinion, there is a huge lack of imaginative, unconventional music being created by artists today and what little there is, goes widely unappreciated by the masses.

Ya that kind of happens when everyone tries to produce music in some sort of sub genre. It all starts to sound the same, much at some times can be cool, but other times I think it can hinder creativity. I tend to like Ambient and IDM because they seem less structured and are more about artist’s differences, than a genre.
