I think I know what you are saying. Your wanting the windy pad sort of deal correct? If you check out the pre-mix of the do you know the love of the Father track, I use some of it on there. You can tell me if this is what you want.

    GOOD NEW LITTLE BUDDIE!!!

THERE ARE ANSWERS JUST WAITING FOR YOU.

I’m not actually using a synth at all. Ha! bet you never saw that coming. Im using white and pink noise with filters. I’m using a band pass filter and just sweeping it around. I keep it below 6.3 kHz though because it tends to make the compressors in the ears go off and makes a painful feeling in the ears. Put some gigantic reverb on it and presto there ya go.

If you don’t know what a band pass filter is it’s a filter than only lets in a certain amount of frequencies. I make it look so it looks like a eq curve shaped like a twinkie or a slice of bread.

Yeah use some white noise and filter it or make some efx on it…..you can put reverb on it and reverse it and do stuff like that. Put rhythmic filters on it too makes for cool efx.

I gotta say, sweeps and FX are a big pain in the butt for me because they’re so subtle but so essential. And I have a tough time finding samples and end up having to make my own, which never sound as good to me.
    So… Thanks for these, Graphite!
