We’re heading to Central Asia… as yet, we are not permitted into Uzbekistan (our main goal) so we’ll go into neighbouring Kyrgyzstan first until the visas clear. This region is very volatile right now. It is run by taliban-like tribesmen in many of the villages. They are not open to outsiders, and especially to Christian missions. So we go in the guise of aide workers; after all, we go to help the helpless, feed the orphaned, and clothe the unsheltered. We need not even speak the name “Christ” because our ACTIONS will be Christ.
I ask that each one reading this, right now… just utter a small prayer for our team. Watch over us.. lead us… have Your will.
Thank you. (and I’ll report to you all when I get home end of May!)
Hey! I just found out that you went. I have a heart for Muslims. I recently wrote a paper on Jihad and wow, its a powerful religion. Those people really need Jesus. That is a great thing you did over there. Here in Detroit we have the largest population of Muslims outside of the Middle East so there are a lot of ministry opportunities here. I would love to hear about what you did and the people you encountered.
