Hey Guys, i’m nearly finished my next remix. its a Dub mix of a kinda old school track (DJ Hooligan – Hear You Now (Grand Chillas Remix). sounds kool. still need to work on mastering and swell/white noise effects and maybe some atmospheric synths but i think its pretty close to Completion. tyDi is gonna have a listen tomorrow and give me some feedback :) its always good to hear back from him cause he’s like Insane when it comes to Production getting the sound perfect.

but yea check it out ;) give me some feedback, (it would be much appreciated)

What stuff is your original stuff? The volume could come up, at least in the beginning. It would be really quiet for mixing with other tracks.

There are some audible clicks around 2:44 and the vocal also goes to a pitch that conflicts with the pads. You can hear this around 4:27. You might be able to pitch shift that last note using an autotune plugin. Other than that it is sounding good. I might have a couple other comments but I will want to give the track more listens.

well it seems like the beginning was quiet, like you should mix that louder, so the compressor doesn’t work as much.

By the way if you don’t have a good reverb plugin I would recommend this one http://www.liquidsonics.com/software_reverberate_le.htm

It is a free convolution plugin and you can download thousands of reverb samples that sound like units that cost $1,000 and above!! REALLY!!!!! best of all is that it is completely free as well as the impulses. You can also create your reverbs of real rooms own with little effort.

the sound on the video sounds bad for some reason, probably user error, but the plugin is really, really awesome.

I forgot to add that it is really easy on the CPU. I think it somewhere around 5%-10% on my Acer Aspire one netbook.

Did you upload the right file? It seems that it is the same on both sides.

Yea its the Right one… for some reason there was some effect on the master that wasn’t allowing left and right to be fully separated, therefore it didn’t sound like it was split properly (i have fixed this now ;)

here’s the properly split version ;)
