was it in the frig? adding lime usually helps it keep. take a taste, if it stinks and doesn’t taste right don’t eat, and make some more.
It was NOT in the fridge. However! It was in a fairly isolated cabinet in my office at work. The room stays around 72 degrees F throughout the night and day due to constant air conditioning, so I’m thinking it might have kept reasonably. Also, and this is critical (presumably): it wasn’t a pure mass of guacamole used as a dip. It was one part of a greater whole which was a safeway deli sandwich. That said, I would describe the application of said guacamole as none other than “generous” in portion.
Lime juice is out of the question, the guacamole is in my belly as we speak. I do feel the faintest bit light headed but I would wager it is from caffeine intake. Updates as they come. If I don’t post in 24 hours it means I’ve died of guacamole poisoning.
Update: After eating the sandwich of questionable freshness (like my beats), there was still a half sandwich left. Actually technically a quarter, because it was originally a Safeway Large, which is the size of two smalls combined. So a half of a half of a large. In layman’s terms, a quarter. I digress.
The half sandwich was refridgerated for approximately 6 hrs 3 minutes, upon which I consumed it. Results are inconclusive, but delicious.
