I have some video tutorials from Future Music and at least one other brother is willing to watch them with me. I can’t copy and send the files because of the copyrights on the dvd, but I will be willing to stream it on skype because that is not copying the video. This could turn into a weekly or bi-weekly event if interest picks up. The videos seem to be a lot more in depth than most youtube videos, and the people on the videos are usually very active EDM/Electronica artist. Then again, it’s my first future music mag. I’ll keep you guys posted on showings. My username is graphite412 on skype as well so look me up, and I can invite you to the showing.

The first showing will be lax. Probably today around 7-8pm central time (6-20-10). The video(s) are from a video tutorial put on by Sean Tyas. I think the total run time of the videos is about an hour an a half. I’m not sure if we will get through all of them today, but we might.

You can get these magazines at any major bookstore of music store. I have not uploaded these files. The idea is to Skype these videos because it is against their user agreement to reproduce the videos. This would also save some people money or would give someone the opportunity to watch if they could afford it.

Project 7 and I just finished part one of the Sean Tyas video. Everything went smoothly, and will be watching part two, probably tomorrow (6-21-10) around 12:30am central time.

Ya they got a website but it doesn’t have much on it, at least compared to the magazine. You can find short Future Music mag videos floating around on youtube, but not the long ones. I don’t see why they just don’t do a youtube account and do pay per view or advertisements to create cash flow. Anyway until then… Skype parties!!!!

we still get together on skype and chat and stuff. We haven’t set it up for doing skype futuremusic videos, especially since they host some of the videos on youtube now. We normally hand out 12-5am Central time. Frogb0tter has all but abandoned our late night skype sessions
but Consumed816 and I have been hanging out recently.

well computer music has the software package that comes with every dvd. It is worth the purchase if you don’t have very much third party plugins. Music Tech has good info but future music and computer music are more geared to specifically EDM production. Future music is cheaper and also has a dvd. I would probably go with future music if I had to choose. I was actually buying SOS, future music and computer music until I realized that they all basically have the same articles lol.

but you get more on the dvd with computer music right? also found that future music has more videos on youtube than computer music.
