    I’m waiting on them to get bigger and cheaper, LOL. I can fill some harddrive space.

    ummm yah… lots of crack. I have dual SSD’s in my work laptop in raid 0 so its even faster. Pretty INSANE how fast it is.

    A good strategy is to have all your backup and data on regular drives, but your actual programs (c drive) and the stuff you are currently working on running off the SSD. That way you can really optimize your speed when using a high demand program such as a DAW.

    Yeah solid state is literally better in every way (except price per gig of course).

    I’ve heard that they have problems over time with overwriting data and that sort of stuff. That they start to wear down after they have been written to a couple times.
