I’m using camstudio for the screen capture and it records a mic input through my audio kontrol1 sound interface. To get better audio I record my microphone (I should use a dynamic mic because of the room noise, but I used a condenser and applied a lot of sound removal processing to the vocal track) and renoise into reaper. In reaper I set up the mic track and the rewire of renoise to record the output of the track. This way I get audio recordings of renoise in real time. This also is a great way to show off effects and instruments in real time instead of having to insert sound later. I then take the video into adobe audition and use the video’s audio to line up the tracks that are recorded in reaper. I also added a lot of compression to my voice and normalized the audio as well as some other small edits.
